The powerful pharaoh Amenemhet I reunified Upper and Lower Egypt with the capital at Thebes. This was the time of the Middle Kingdom, which had a new emphasis on order and social cohesion. It expanded to the west to Nubia and even further south along the Nile into the mysterious kingdom of Kush. The peoples intermingled peacefully and as prosperity grew, they came together to build great cities.

BCreate isolated stacks - cities, surrounded by open squares, with your color tile on top. The twist is that everyone can move everyone else’s tiles. Choices of set to play, play and end of play can be mixed to give differing experiences of Kush.

The alternative play together with the afterlife expansion is particularly exciting. Now you appreciate the help but also the danger with relying on the dead.ilde isolieren Stapel, so dass die Stadt nur noch von offnen Feldern umgeben ist, und eigene Farbplättchen obenauf liegen. Der Clou ist, dass jeder die Plättchen der Anderen verschieben kann.

Overview

SET TO PLAY

Players take turns if possible, to move any tile or an entire stack of tiles, on top of any other tile or stack, on an adjacent square. Tiles cannot be moved off of a stack or onto open squares.

Everyone can move any color tiles.

PLAY

END OF PLAY

When no one can move, the winner has most tiles in sight, either as single tiles or on top of a stack. The winner of a draw has the highest stack.

Each player receives these people in their player color, and randomly place them on the board.

Alternative Play

10 spirits and 2 ghosts are placed on open but not adjacent squares before people tiles are placed. Everyone can move any of the spirit or ghost tiles in sight instead of people. The first player to move the apple, or a stack with the apple on top of it, onto one of their own visible tiles has chosen to die and becomes a spirit till the end of play.

Everyone can move any color tiles in sight, except their own color tiles.
